The so called Aryan Dravidian Theory which used for ‘Divide and Convert’ policy has been exposed by this fresh Genetic research conducted by the The American Society of Human Genetics.

The research, ‘Shared and Unique Components of Human Population Structure and Genome-Wide Signals of Positive Selection in South Asia’ is conducted by a team of 15 scientists which includes four Indian scientists. The findings of a three-year has been published by American Journal of Human Genetics in its issue dated December 9.

The research has proved that there never existed any Aryans or Dravidians in the Indian sub continent. The Aryan-Dravidian classification was nothing but a misinformation campaign carried out by people with vested interests.

The study effectively puts to rest the argument that south Indians are Dravidians and were driven to the peninsula by Aryans who invaded North India,” said Prof Singh, a molecular biologist and former chief of Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad.

People all over India have common genetic traits and origin. All Indians have the same DNA structure. No foreign genes or DNA has entered the Indian mainstream in the last 60,000 years.

That was based on low resolution genetic markers. This time we have used autosomes, which mean all major 23 chromosomes, for our studies. The decoding of human genome and other advances in this area help us in unraveling the ancestry in 60,000 years.

“We have to find out the credentials of the authors of this research paper and their hidden agenda. In Tamil Nadu, the Dravidian and Aryan ties are inter-related. The Dalits in our land are the descendents of the Dravidian Brahmins who were pushed to the lowest strata of society by the Aryans.

The team found that instead of Aryan invasion, it was Indians who moved from the subcontinent to Europe. That’s the reason behind the findings of the same genetic traits in Eurasiain regions.  Africans came to India through Central Asia during 80,000 to 60,000 BCE and they moved to Europe sometime around 30,000 BCE.

The Indian Vedic literature and the epics are all silent about the Aryan-Dravidian conflict. The report states that, some heuristic interpretations of the ancestry proportions palette in terms of past migrations seem too obvious to be ignored. For example, it was first suggested by the German Orientalist Max Müller that ca. 3,500 years ago a dramatic migration of Indo-European speakers from Central Asia (the putative Indo Aryan migration) played a key role in shaping contemporary South Asian populations and was responsible for the introduction of the Indo-European language family and the caste system in India. Thus, the report totally denies most sham Aryan Invasion Theory which was advocated by the British rulers, Christian Missionaries and contemporary South Indian Political parties and ideologues.

However, the research has identified a cline of Indian populations toward Europe with no corresponding cline within the Europeans.

The alleged propaganda of ‘Aryan Invasion and Conflict of Aryans with Dravidians’ is widely used in India as a tool to divide the Indian Society for years. Michel Danino, in his ‘The Invasion That Never Was’ has already stated that “Since the nineteenth century, India’s ancient history from Vedic times and the true content of the Veda have both been distorted by a blinkered and unsympathetic scholarship. British rulers, European scholars and missionaries combined in a campaign to disparage the roots of Indian civilization, and used the wholly groundless Aryan Invasion theory to sow seeds of division in the Indian society – “divide and rule,” But also “divide and convert.” The same fallacies continue to be promoted today.”

Danino further comments that, unfortunately, many of the wounds the Aryan invasion theory inflicted on Indian society are still painfully open today, nurtured as they have been by missionaries, Marxist historians and politicians, who together have made sure that divisions between castes have been sharpening rather than subsiding – for the simple reason that without such divisions they would all be out of business.

The fresh research has played a great role which examines the birth of the Arya-Dravid myth and its misuses. The American Society of Human Genetics with the help of cellular molecular biology has thrown fresh look at the ‘Invasion theory’ in the light of its recent scientific evidence and showed how it now stands overwhelmingly disproved.

The message, which also bears the signature of Archbishop Pier Luigi Celata, secretary of the pontifical council, is entitled, ‘Christians and Hindus, together in Promoting Religious Freedom’.

The Message says that, Diwali celebrates the victory of truth over falsehood, of light over darkness, of life over death, of good over evil.

This message further gives explanation on the concept of ‘religious freedom’ saying that it has got in centre stage in many places, calling our attention to those members of our human family exposed to bias, prejudice, hate propaganda, discrimination and persecution on the basis of religious affiliation.

Message claims that religious freedom is the answer to religiously motivated conflicts in many parts of the world. Amid the violence triggered by these conflicts, many desperately yearn for peaceful coexistence and integral human development’.

The message continues and comments that the Religious freedom is numbered among the fundamental human rights rooted in the dignity of the human person. When it is jeopardised or denied, all other human rights are endangered. Religious freedom necessarily includes immunity from coercion by any individual, group, community or institution. Though the exercise of this right entails the freedom of every person to profess, practise and propagate his or her religion or belief, in public or in private, alone or in a community, it also involves a serious obligation on the part of civil authorities, individuals and groups to respect the freedom of others. Moreover, it includes the freedom to change one’s own religion’.

… मुलाची नजर भिरभिरते…त्याची आई त्याच्या दिशेने येतेय. लहान भाऊ तिच्या हाताचं बोट धरून येतोय

…किती वर्ष झाली आईला पाहिल्यावर? ६ महिने? एक वर्ष, दोन वर्ष…तीन? चार? आठवत नाही…किती दिवस झाले आईला सोडून आल्याला? का आलो? कोणासोबत? कशाच्या आकर्षणाने….कोणाच्या रागाने?

पण आता आईला पाहिल्यावर सर्व एक झाल्यासारखं वाटतं आहे… आईला बिलगल्यावर, आईचा हात पाठीवरून फिरल्यावर सारं काही वितळून गेलं. घर सोडल्यानंतरचा सारा कालावधी एका क्षणात विरून गेला…मुंबईत आल्यानंतरचं अशाश्वत जीवन…भेटलेले मित्र…त्यांच्या नाही नाही त्या सवयी…कधी स्वतःला जडल्या कळलंच नाही. दिवसभर काहीही करून पैसे मिळवायचे…कधी दीडशे, दोनशे…जास्तही…ते लगेच खर्चही करायचे. जपून ठेवले तर कोणी चोरेल याची भीती…जवळचे असे कोणी नाही…विश्वास ठेवण्याजोगे कोणी नाही…कायम दुस-याबद्दल असंशय…अविश्वास…जीवनाचं नागडं सत्य अनुभवायला भाग पाडणारा प्रत्येक क्षण! आईची आठवण येतेय, पण परत जाणार कसं? आई मला जवळ घेईल? बाबा मारणार तर नाहीत ना? लहानगे भाऊबहीण ओळखतील? आता काहीतरी बनूनच जाऊ…पैसे कमवून जाऊ…!

‘तो’ क्षण कधीच येणार नसतो. आयुष्याच्या उमलायच्या वयात चुकलेली वाट…ढासळलेला तोल….! याआधी घरातून पळून आलेल्या अनेकांच्या आयुष्यात तो कधीच आला नाही. पण आज समतोल फाउंडेशनने ‘तो’ क्षण वास्तवात आणला.

बंधारा बांधला की…कालपर्यंत वाहात असलेल्या लहानश्या ओढ्याचे रूपांतर जेव्हा जलाशयात होते, तेव्हा त्याचा दृश्य परिणाम फार मोठा असतो. तो पाहाणा-याच्या मनावर अधिक होतो. त्या भागात जे लोक राहातात त्यांच्या मनोबलावर सकारात्मक परिणाम झालेला असतो. असाच परिणाम ज्या ज्या वाड्यांमध्ये डॉक्टरांनी बंधारे बांधले, तिथल्या ग्रामस्थांवर झाला. बंधा-यांच्या पाण्याच्या आधारावार काहींनी चक्कं कलिंगडं लावली. पीक भरपूर आलं. मुंबई ते गोवा राष्ट्रीय महामार्गावर या कलिंगडांचे स्टॉल लागले. ऑक्टोबरच्या उन्हात ही कलिंगडं प्रवाश्यांना खुणाऊ लागली. गाड्यांच्या चाकांनी आपोआप स्टॉलवर गर्दी केली. उत्पनाचा नवा महामार्ग या निमिताने शेतक-यांनी अनुभवला. बंधा-याचं महत्व सर्वांना पटलं. पारंपारिक जलव्यवस्थापनाची आधुनिक मांडणी करताना डॉक्टर देवधरांना अनेक गोष्टी शिकायला मिळाल्या. एका वाडीत बांधलेला बंधारा पुढच्या वाडीतील लोक येऊन गुपचूप फोडून जात. आपल्याला पाणी मिळणार नाही या भीती सोबत नाठाळपणाचाही भाग त्यात असे. त्यावर उपाय म्हणून बंधारा बांधायला सुरूवात होण्या पूर्वी स्थानिक देवाला म्हणजे रामेश्वर, सातेरी, रवळनाथ, भवाईदेवी, वेतोबा अशा ग्रामदेवतांना ज्येष्ठ नागरिकांनी नारळ वाढवून गा-हाणी घालण्याची पध्दत सुरू झाली. त्यात बंधा-याची काळजी घे यासोबतच कोणी बंधारा फोडला तर त्याला शिक्षा कर असेही कलम घातले गेले. देवाच्या कोपाच्या भीतीने नाठाळपणाला पायबंद बसला आणि हे देवाचे काम म्हणून सर्वांचा सहभागही  वाढला.

या काळातच डॉक्टर प्रसाद आणि हर्षदा देवधर यांच्या व्यक्तिगत प्रयत्नातून सुरू झालेल्या कामाचं रूपांतर भगिरथ ग्रामविकास प्रतिष्ठान या स्वयंसेवी संस्थेत झालं. अनेक कार्यकर्ते स्वतःहून या कामात जोडले गेले.

उपाय निघाला बायोगॅसचा

बंधा-यांची चळवळ जोरात असतानाच ज्या कारणासाठी जंगलतोड होत होती, त्या घरगुती इंधनाकडे डॉक्टर देवधरांनी मोर्चा वळवला.

त्यावर उपाय निघाला बायोगॅसचा. अनुदान मिळतं म्हणून गावात काहींनी बायोगॅस बांधलेही होते. परंतु ते नादुरूस्त तरी होते किंवा शौचालयाला जोडलेले नव्हते. शौचासाठी बाहेर जाण्याचं प्रमाण गावात जास्त असतंच. बायोगॅस बांधून ते जर शौचालयाला जोडले, तर अधिक प्रमाणात घरगुती इंधन सहज उपलब्ध होतेच पण जी स्लरी बाहेर पडते ती बागायतीसाठी उत्तम खत म्हणून वापरली जाऊ शकते याचा प्रचार आणि प्रसार करण्यासाठी ‘भगीरथ’ च्या कार्यकर्त्यांनी कंबर कसली. संस्थेच्या ‘बायोगॅस डॉक्टर’ कार्यकर्त्यांनी जुने व नादुरूस्त झालेले बायोगॅस कार्यान्वित केले. आजमितीला १० गावांमध्ये फेरो सिमेंट मॉडेलचे ३५० बायोगॅस- निळ्या ज्योतीची नंदनवने- कार्यान्वित झाले आहेत. गावातील गवंडी बायोगॅस बांधण्याच्या तंत्रज्ञानात प्रवीण झाले आहेत. ते आता बायोगॅस बांधणी तंत्रज्ञानाचे अभ्यास शिबिरे घेतात. आता चूलीमुळे घरात पसरणारा धूर विरून गेला आहे, जाताना गृहलक्ष्मीच्या डोळ्यांतील पाणी घेऊन गेलाय. ती आता अधिक स्पष्टपणे आपल्या संसाराकडे पाहू शकते आहे.

गेल्या काही वर्षांच्या अथक प्रयत्नांतून आता समाजालाही डॉक्टर देवधरांच्या कार्याचे महत्व पटते आहे. नाहीतर काही वर्षांपूर्वी हाफपॅंट घालून सायकल चालवीत डॉ. प्रसाद दवाखान्यात जात. उद्देश हाच की जातायेता समाजातील सर्व घटकांशी संवाद व्हावा. काहींनी समज करून घेतला की बहुधा डॉक्टरांना दवाखान्यातून फारसे उत्पन्न होत नसावे. कबीर एका दोह्यात म्हणतो-

सांई इतना दीजिये, जामे कुटुंब समाय,
मै भी भूखा ना रहूँ, साधू न भूखा जाय….

आजपर्यंत समाजासाठी कार्य करणार-या आधुनिक काळातील अनेक ‘साधूं’ चं देवधरांचं घर हे हकाचं ठिकाण आहे. डॉ. प्रसाद अणि हर्षदा यांनी खूप आधीच हे ठरवले आणि स्वीकारले की जोपर्यंत आर्थिक स्थिरता येईपर्यंत दोघांनी दवाखाना चालवायचा आणि एकदा ती आली अशी स्थिती उत्पन्न झाली की केवळ हर्षदा वहीनींनी दवाखाना चालवायचा. ज्या भागात दवाखाना आहे तेथील किमान वैद्यकीय शुल्कापेक्षा कमी शुल्क देवधरांच्या दवाखान्यात आकारले जाते. किंबहुना रूग्णाची आर्थिक स्थिती कमकुवत असेल, तर ते नाकारलेही जाते. एखादे हॉस्पिटल बांधून कायम सोन्याची अंडी देणारी कोंबडी निर्माण करावी असा विचार या दांपत्याने कधी केला असेल असे म्हणायला जागा नाही.

इलाही जमादारांचा एक शेर आहे-

“आत्म्याचा सौदा करूनी जर स्वतःस विकले असते,
एकेक वीट सोन्याची, घर असे बांधले असते…”

या ओळींचा खरा अर्थ देवधरांच्या सहवासात मला प्रथम कळला. कोणत्याही स्टेटस सिंबॉलचा स्पर्श स्वतःला न होऊ देता आपल्या मानसी आणि अवधूत या दोन्ही मुलांना शिक्षणासाठी गावातील सर्वसामान्य मुले ज्या शाळेत जातात त्याच स्थानिक शाळेत पाठवले.

भगिरथ ग्रामविकास प्रतिष्ठानच्या माध्यमातून ग्राम विकासातील एकही मुद्दा डॉक्टरांनी सोडलेला नाही. गावांतील समस्या कोणतातरी एक प्रश्न सोडवून संपत नाहीत. कारण त्यांचे मूळ कारण दुस-याच समस्येत लपलेले असते. समस्यांची एकमेकात असलेली गुंफण ज्याला लक्षात आली, त्याला ग्रामविकासाची नाडी कळली असे म्हणता येईल. प्रसाद व हर्षदा या कसलेल्या डॉक्टरद्वयाला ती न कळली तर नवलच. शेती, शेतीला पूरक उद्योग, शिक्षण, अपारंपारिक उर्जास्रोत, महिला व बालकल्याण, आरोग्य या विषयांना घेऊन आज भगिरथ ग्रामविकास प्रतिष्ठान झाराप पंचक्रोशीत कार्य करीत आहे. ग्रामविकासाचे हे प्रयत्न पाहायला येणा-यांना काही शुल्क आकारले जाते. डॉक्टरांचे म्हणणे आहे की शुल्काचे नाव काढल्यावर हवशे, नवशे यांची संख्य़ा कमी होते, वेळ वाचतो. ज्यांना खरेच काम पाहाण्यात रस आहे, त्यांना ते असे काही कळते की त्यांची पावले परत परत आकेरीच्या दिशेने वळतात.

डॉ. देवधरांना त्यांच्या कार्याबद्दल अनेक सन्मान मिळत असतात. या पुरस्कार देणा-यांच्या बाबतीत चोखंदळ राहाणारे देवधरांसारखे क्वचितच सापडतील. भगिरथ ग्रामविकास प्रतिष्ठान च्या कार्याला देणगी देणा-यांची काही अट असेल आणि ती काम करण्यामागच्या मूळ सूत्राच्या आड येत असेल तर विनम्रतेने ती नाकारण्याचे ‘धाडस’ डॉ. प्रसाद यांनी दाखविलेले आहे. सामाजिक काम करताना स्वाभाविक पणे येणारा स्वतःचा अहंकार डॉ. प्रसाद यांनी सहजतेने दूर ठेवला आहे. किंबहुना, सामाजिक काम ज्यावेळी व्यक्तिगत पातळीवर होते त्यावेळी अपमान आणि उपेक्षेचे कटू अनुभव त्यांनी एक अपरिहार्यता म्हणून स्वीकारलेले आहेत. त्यामुळेच सामाजिक कार्याला ‘आहे म्हणून’ देणगी देणा-याचा अहंकार त्यांना सलतो.  आज भगिरथ ग्रामविकास प्रतिष्ठानची घडी व्यवस्थित बसवून सामाजिक काम प्रथमावस्थेत असणा-या संस्था व समाजासाठी धडपडणा-या कार्यकर्त्यांचे पालकत्व डॉ. प्रसाद यांनी स्वीकारले आहे.

डॉ. देवधर गेले दशकभर समाजाचे प्रश्न सोडविण्यासाठी काम करीत आहेत, त्यांनी गावात केलेले ग्रामविकासाचे, जलसंवर्धनाचे प्रयोग, त्यामागची भूमिका, आलेले अनुभव हे सर्व फार जवळून पाहाण्याची व ते काम अनुभवण्याची संधी मला लाभली. आयुष्यभर डॉक्टरकी करून, सोन्याची वीटेचे घर बांधण्याची सर्व शक्यता असताना, आकेरी सारख्या लहान गावात राहून डॉ. प्रसाद आणि हर्षदा देवधर यांनी समाज आपले घर मानले. भगिरथ ग्रामविकास प्रतिष्ठान च्या रूपाने या भावनेचे व्यक्त स्वरूप असे पथदर्शक काम उभे राहीले आहे. अशी निळ्या ज्योतीच्या नंदनवने अनेक ठिकाणी उभी राहू शकतात, गरज आहे एका गवंड्याची…डॉ. प्रसाद देवधरांसारख्या!

झाराप गावात तिठ्यावर आपल्या दवाखान्यात रूग्णांशी संवाद साधताना डॉ. प्रसाद व हर्षदा देवधर यांना रोग्यासोबत गावातील प्रश्नांचीही नाडी कळत होती. समाजाच्या प्रश्नांबद्दल त्यांच्या मध्ये सातत्याने चर्चाही होत होती. झाराप पंचक्रोशीत पाण्याचे दुर्भिक्ष्य असे. चांगला पाऊस पडूनही फेब्रुवारीच्या नंतर पाणी तळाला जाई. कोकणात पाऊस भरपूर पडला तरीही समुद्र जवळ असल्याने वेगाने समुद्रास मिळते. हे पाणी जमिनीत मुरायला वनसंपदा मदत करते. झाडांची मुळे जमीनीची पाणी धारण करण्याची क्षमता वाढवतात आणि पाण्यालाही रोखतात. मग तसे का होत नाही? उत्तर शोधताना लक्षात आले की काही वर्षांत झाडेही कमी झाली आहेत. जवळपासची अरण्ये ओस पडत आहेत. अचानक वणवे लागत आहेत. हळू हळू अनेक गोष्टींची उकल व्हायला लागली. खेड्यातील घरांमध्ये चुलींवर जेवण रांधण्याची पध्दत. त्यासाठी जळणाचा साठा करावा लागतो. ही लाकडे येणार कुठून? दरवर्षी कुठून मिळणार सुकी लाकडे? मग लावा वणवे…पेटवा झाडे. झाड तोडायला बंदी आहे, पण सुकलेलं झाड तोडायला नाही. अशा पध्दतीने कळत नकळत मोठ्या प्रमाणात झालेल्या वृक्षतोडीमुळे जमिनीची पाणी धारण क्षमता कमी झाली. विहीरी लवकर तळ गाठू लागल्या. शेतीला पाणी पुरेनासं झालं. भरपूर पाऊस मिळूनही.

झाराप गावात गोपीनाथाचे मंदीर आहे. त्या मंदीराच्या आवारात एक तळी. गोपीनाथाची तळी म्हणून ती ओळखली जायची. नावालाच तळी म्हणायची. अनेक वर्षे गाळ साचून ती बुजली होती. डॉ. देवधरांनी मे महीन्यामध्ये विद्यार्थी परिषदेच्या श्रमानुभव शिबीरात कार्यकर्त्यांना सोबत घेऊन ही तळी उपसण्याचा उपक्रम आयोजित केला. १५ २० कार्यकर्त्यांनी तीन चार दिवस भरपूर परिश्रम घेऊन त्यातील गाळ काढला. पाणी प्रवाहित झाले. लक्षात आले की ही तळी त्या पंचक्रोशीच्या पूर्वापार चालत आलेल्या जलव्यवस्थापनातील एक महत्वाचा दुवा आहे. कार्यकर्त्यांचा उत्साह दुणावला. डॉ. देवधरांना लक्षात आले की जल व्यवस्थापनाचा फार शास्त्रीय विचार आणि उपाय पूर्वजांनी करून ठेवलेत. फक्त त्याचा विचार आजच्या पिढीने कधीच केलेला नाही. हा विचार मनात येताच त्या वर्षीच्या सप्टेंबर महीन्याच्या आसपास बंधा-राची जागा निश्चित करून कार्यकर्त्यांना आणि काही समजूतदार गावक-यांना सोबत घेऊन बंधारा बांधला. स्वतः हाफपॅंट घालून डॉक्टर चिखलात उतरले. बांधायला जितक्यांचे हात राबत होते, त्याच्या दुप्पट जण सभोवताली उभे राहून मजा पाहात होते. त्यांतील बहुतेकांच्या मनात हे काय आता नवीन काढलंय…प्रयोग फसणार बहुधा… असेच विचार होते. ते विचार व्यक्त करून बांधणा-यांना नाऊमेद करण्याचा उत्साह ओसंडून जात होता. बंधारा बांधून झाला. वाहून जाणारं पाणी हळू हळू स्थिराऊ लागलं, स्थिरावतं झालं…एका बाजूने मुशी बांधून त्याला वाहायची मुभा देऊनही. लोक म्हणाले

‘डॉक्टर …पाणी व्हाऊन चलला, टिकतला कसा?’

…डॉक्टरांनी आपलं जलसूत्र सांगितलं..

‘पाण्याला पूर्ण बंदिस्त करू नका, त्याला वाहायची मुभा द्या, पुढच्या वाडीलाही ते मिळायला हवं. नाहीतर पाण्याचा जोर वाढून ते बंधा-याला फोडून पुढे जाईल आणि नाहीच गेलं तर पुढच्या गावातील गावकरी येऊन बंधारा फोडतील’.

आमचा बंधारा पूर्ण झाला. आपल्या पंचक्रोशीत पाण्याचं प्रमाण वाढावं म्हणून वैद्यकशास्त्रातील हा निष्णात डॉक्टर हातातील इंजेक्शनची सिरिंज आणि स्कालपेल सोडून कुदळ फावडं घेऊन मातीत उतरला होता.

WHEN WILL LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES IN HISTORY AND ANTICIPATE THE REAL THREATS THAT IS THE REAL QUESTION WHICH NO ONE IS WILLING TO ANSWER!!

WE BLOGGERS SHOUD GIVE OUR FREE OPINIONS ON THE FAILED SECURITY SITUATION OF THE NATION, I FEEL!

Pravesh Dubey, a Std VIII student, had been growing the tuft since he was a year old, as it was of religious significance. He was to grow it until he turned 15 and cut it only after a religious ceremony in April at Vindhyavasini temple in Uttar Pradesh. But on Tuesday, when he went to the principals cabin to collect fees calendar. Ft Frank  was furious to see that Pravesh had not cut his hair. Asked him to turn back and took out a pair of scissors from his drawer. Pravesh pleaded with him, but he beat him and snipped off his tuft. When Father was about to throw it into the dustbin, the boy asked Father Frank to give it to him.

Just think, if this type of incidence had happened with a Christian or Muslim student? Then entire brigade of Human Rights Activist would have attacked the school with their aides in the Media and governance. Now when there is a clear cut Violation of the Human Rights of Pravesh Dubey, where are the Human Rights Top Guns….?

From centuries, the convent schools are one of the planned effort of the Christian Missionaries to convert the `natives’, hidden, pagans etc. These schools have a daily prayer for Jesus. It’s not communal. But if you pray to your own god and keep faith in your religion, then it becomes a crime such as this case. But we Indians are much proud to send our kids to these schools and in hands of these communal jerks i.e. padres (fathers)& madris (Nuns).

Let Jesus be kind on them & US …AMEN
